Sales History Of LCD Tvs

The sales history of flat screens shows a great increase during the first years, and sudden decrease nowadays. This is after the general analysis of sales weight against the demand throughout the years. It was 1936 when the principle of flat television, of plasma technology, was described by Kalman Tihanyi. It was until the 1960s that the plasma technology was better researched.
After this new sleek design, flat panel screen was introduced to the market, the demand for television boomed. While issues regarding the flat designs were first raised as questions, these became the markets of these products. By providing answers to these questions, the advantages of a flat panel TV are realized.
The first decades of flat screens in the market were great, but not smooth. At that time, the sudden introduction of flat panel screens to the people as the new design of televisions really did surprised and wowed the people. People who by that time were able to afford the “new” television seemed to have the opportunity to enjoy it. While as for the others who were also shocked with the prices then, they were able to simply accept that something new has come to take over the place of color tube televisions. As at that time, it was also the era when a lot of things seemed to be being replaced by new products of technology. As for example, it was also the decade that cellular phones were introduced to take over the position of land lines and first models of cellular phones.
